Matt and I will be on course this Sunday at the US Pro Cycling Championships. No, I can promise you we’re not competing. But we will be course marshals for the September 19th Road Race. Returning to Greenville for the 5th year, the US Pros brings out a who’s who of the domestic peloton including Ted King, Danny Pate, Levi Leipheimer, local fav George Hincapie, US Pro Crit champ John Murphy and recently-on-fire Joey Rosskopf.

Along with seeing the riders circuit the 110 mile course, there’s “plenty to do downtown while the race is underway. From Noon to 5 pm, free activities are available at the Health and Wellness Expo, adjacent to the course. While the professional road race is underway, the U.S. Handcycling Series criterium will take place downtown. And children 3-12 can participate in a free Kid’s Race. And, free bicycle valet parking will be available in the Expo area all day, provided by Bikeville“. Race starts at 1p.See you there! //Shawn
