Tell us about your background in cycling, and and what got you into the sport?
I’m new to the world of cycling. My partner Bill finally convinced me to get off my rear and into the saddle. Now I’m hooked!

What’s your favorite kind of riding to do today?
Steep climbs where I can get into my groove, and hunker down and go. It may take a while to reach my destination but I eventually get there.

What do you take on a ride with you no matter what (besides the bike of course)?
My cellphone

What are you riding right now?
Trek Madone 4.5

Where is your favorite place to ride?
North Mecklenburg County where there’s little traffic, good roads and nice scenery.

How ofter do you ride?
I average one ride during the week and a long ride on the weekend.

If you hadn’t jumped into the cycling, what do you think you would be doing now?
More yoga!
