05.11.12Weekend of May 12 & 13It's most certainly shaping up to be a stunning weekend here at HQ. Bike Charlotte festivities wind down on Saturday. The Giro d'Italia moves into it's second week. The Amgen Tour of California starts Sunday evening, and of course we would be remiss to forget Mother's Day. A few quick updates: Socks are approved and in production. Team bottles are running on roughly the same timeline, and should be manufactured soon. We'll be going with the Purist from Specialized. 03.30.12Weekend of March 30 & April 1Tonite, New Belgium is bringing the Surly Beer Bike to Uptown Cycles. It's all part of the Urban Assault Ride taking place this Sunday. 6p at the shop. Bring our ID and your thirst. Last weekend we saw 30+ riders chase the storms around Charlotte while managing to stay dry. We topped it off with a reasonably successful Lead/Chase split that seemed to work pretty well, and wrapped the whole thing up by drinking Growlers out of all of their Ranger and Fat Tire.
