Liege-Bastogne-Liege. The final Spring classic is this Sunday.
Charlotte B-Cycle expansion party is Tuesday April 29th. Join Charlotte B-cycle as they celebrate the addition of 3 new stations.

10a, Poker Ride for MS. “The Poker Ride leaves from Mojo Cycles on April 26th at 10:00 and travels either 50 or 30 miles east of Matthews through rolling hills and farm country as each rider picks up 5 playing cards. The best 3 hands win cash prizes of $200/$100 and $50 with the worst hand of the day receiving a $50 gift card from Mojo Cycles.

This ride is fully supported by the RANK RIDERS cycling club with 100% of the proceeds going to Beach or Bust which will then go directly on to those in the area with MS. At the end there is hot food and cold beer/soft drinks plus live music and camaraderie with your fellow poker riders! Cost is $25 on the day of event”

9a, 36th Street Racing Sunday Ride. Group departs from the corner of 36th & Yadkin. 53miles. Ride together to Stallings Road Park. Pack should stay together and relaxed tempo until the Lead/Chase split at Pine Grove Church Rd & Flowes Store Rd. Lead group rides at or near race pace, with ORGANIZED EFFORTS. Chase group will ride no drop (18.5-19.5mph) and sweep the route. Stay together, stay safe. Pub finish at Growlers Pourhouse for $2.50 Rangers and Fat Tires courtesy New Belgium Brewery.

We do our best to make sure everyone gets home in one piece, but it can be tough to account for all. Please come prepared. Cell phone, food, water, cue sheet, route & pace familiarity, ID, and cash are always good things to have on your person no matter the distance.

36th Street Racing does not warrant the safety of routes selected for rides. Roads are NOT closed for cyclists. Cyclists ride at their own risk and assume total responsibility for their own safety. 36th Street Racing, its organizers and ride leaders will not be responsible for any injury or damage to any persons or property that may arise from participation in the ride. 11a, Mountain Training. With the light race calendar, Fontanilla is planning on a big mountain training day this Sunday, 4/27 starting in Banner Elk/Beech. Click here for the proposed route

Approximately 70+ miles over Roan Mt. twice (both NC and TN sides) and finishing up Beech. 8,000 ft in climbing (if the road to Roan toll booth is open). Mid-morning start with a friend doing SAG for the day also.

1p, Growlers Oyster Roast. “Join us from 1-6pm on April 27th for another Oyster Roast. We’ll have craft beer, beer food, oysters (of course), and bands. All going down in our back parking lot.”
