• ROAD CONSTRUCTION on the route means the Sunday Ride will DETOUR ONTO Robinson Church prior to Stallings Road Park. RETURN ROUTE now turns left from N. Tryon onto Sugar Creek and right onto N. Davidson.

730a, Assault on Morrow Mtn. “The Assault on Morrow Mountain route is a 60 mile loop with 3 rest stops along the route. The elevation is primarily downhill to the mountain which sometimes fools even the strongest riders. Make sure you leave a little “gas in the tank” because the real ride begins after the mountain. The majority of the elevation is in the last 30 miles including a monster climb at mile 55. Weather cancellations will Be posted by 5:30am Saturday on the WeeklyRides.com Facebook page.”

8a, Dad’s Ride Show & Go. 8 am at 36th & Yadkin. Show & go this week, no leadout as Lifts is recovering from his Brony convention. 40 miles at “Gentleman’s Pace”, 17-19mph.


9a, 36th Street Racing Sunday Ride. Group departs from the corner of 36th & Yadkin. 53miles. DETOURS ON THE ROUTE. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION Pack should stay together and relaxed tempo until the Lead/Chase split at Pine Grove Church Rd & Flowes Store Rd. Lead group rides at or near race pace, with ORGANIZED EFFORTS. Chase group will ride no drop (18.5-19.5mph) and sweep the route. Stay together, stay safe. Pub finish at Growlers Pourhouse for $2.50 Rangers and Fat Tires courtesy New Belgium Brewery.

While we do our best to make sure everyone gets home in one piece, it can be tough to account for all. Please come prepared. Cell phone, food, water, cue sheet, route & pace familiarity, ID, and cash are always good things to have on your person no matter the distance.
